Stretch Marks

I am slightly scared to say this too much but, I have had no stretch marks so far this pregnancy!! with my daughter I made it to about 8 months and they all creeped up and I was completely heartbroken.

They looked red and angry, and once one appeared, he brought all his friends to the party, and although stretch marks are hereditary, therefore pretty unavoidable, the right mindset is everything.

first of all, try not to give into the itchiness, yes that horrible, irresistible itchiness, cream and oil instead, I tried loads last time, I've tried loads this time, but by far my favourites are: the cocoa butter stretch mark cream, bio oil and rosehip seed oil! if you can't prevent them then you might as well treat them and make them heal as seamlessly as possible.

they will heal, and they won't look red forever! thats the one thing I wish someone had told me, they fade, you can actually get them lasered off which I thought I was going to do but they genuinely don't bother me anymore, you can fake tan over them which is a cheaper alternative to laser and you look brown!

with love, Ines
